The 13th Auto Shanghai starts on April 20th and last until April 28th, 2009 at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) in Shanghai, China.

This leading automotive exhibition in China will cover a total of 170.000 sq. m space in all eleven modern exhibition halls and outdoor space. This is much more space than 2007, because two new halls have been build. Eight halls will be reserved for international and domestic carmakers; three halls will be reserved for the automotive suppliers industry.

The German official participation covers 1.500 sq. m. space in hall E5 and E6. More than 30 German companies from the automotive suppliers sector have applied within the official participation. Apart from the companies within the German Pavilion, more leading German suppliers and also the German leading carmakers and are present at Auto Shanghai 2009.

This year about 550.000 visitors are expected. The visitor days are separated into professional visitor days (April 22nd + 23rd) and general public (from April 24th). During the trade visitor days, leaders, decision makers and technical professionals from the automotive sector are expected. The opening hours for business & general visitors are scheduled from 09:00 – 18:00 (expect of the April 22th from 12:00 – 20:00 h and April 28th from 09:00 – 15:00 h).
The press days are scheduled for April 20th to April 21st, 2009.
